Walk through the magnificent tropical gardens on this expansive two and a half acre property to your private home with stunning sea and island views. The house is positioned on a bluff overlooking the sea to maximize the spectacular views and sunsets. Beautifully constructed, Ucuilagi is built of solid wood and consists of two large bedrooms, two average sized bedrooms, three bathrooms and a spacious kitchen, dining room, entertainment area, and living room. Bed configurations can be any combination of king-size bed or twin beds and the house can accommodate up to 10 persons. Interior area 2200 square feet and 800 square foot patio. Floors are of beautifully Fijian hardwood.With the incredible scenic expansive 190° views from Ucuilagi guests often discover this to be the idyllic place on the island to just relax. During the evening have a swim in the swimming pool while admiring the beautiful sunsets while enjoying your cocktail. In the evening feast upon the amazing star show of the Southern Hemisphere.Amenities at Ucuilagi include fully equipped kitchen, washing machine, TV & stereo entertainment center with supply of DVD’s, outdoor BBQ, air-conditioning, ceiling fans, and Toyota twin-cab truck.
House staff [Isoa & Peni] live on property in a separate house. All housekeeping chores are taken care of on a daily basis [except Sunday]. Isoa & Peni are indigenous Fijians and love to share their culture and to arrange traditional Fijian experiences for our guests.
The Ucuilagi gardens are immaculately maintained by the onsite manager Isoa and his loving family. Take a walk through the gardens and taste a freshly picked pineapple, papaya, avocado, banana, or mango when in season.
Several restaurants are within easy walking distance. Several additional restaurants are within a five minute drive. Grocery stores are also nearby. Dive shop nearby.
ISLAND TRANSPORTATION: Ucuilagi rental INCLUDES a new four-wheel drive Toyota Hi Luxury twin-cab pick-up truck. Fully loaded including air-conditioning. Due to insurance requirements the vehicle can only be driven by Ucuilagi staff who will serve as your driver and island guide. Having use of this vehicle with your own knowledgeable driver/guide you will discover to be a tremendous benefit.

The island of TAVEUNI is the third largest island in the Fiji archipelago. The International Dateline [180th Meridian] crosses the island just a few miles down the road from all three of these wonderful rental homes. For convenience however, the Dateline has been moved so that all of the Fiji Islands are under one time zone. The island is approximately 28 miles long and 10 miles wide. Taveuni's population of 12,000 [mostly native Fijians] resides in villages with the largest being that of Somosomo. Taveuni is known as "The Garden Island of Fiji" because of its magnificently lush green jungle vegetation. There are more truly and exotic and culturally interesting excursions you can make on Taveuni than on any other island. Reservation dates once confirmed will be held for a period of 10-days. In order to guarantee a confirmed reservation, a $250/week deposit is required. Final payment must be made at least 45 days prior to your Fiji arrival. (Holiday Periods) Thanksgiving/Christmas/New Year's Rental and Payment Conditions: Deposits required are $350/week and are strictly non-refundable. Full payment is due 60 days prior to your Fiji arrival. There are no refunds of any kind for holiday bookings.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellations received prior to 45 days of arrival will be charged the full deposit. Cancellations received 45 - 30 days prior to the arrival, will be charged 50% of the total rental. Cancellations received less than 30 days prior to your arrival will be 100% non-refundable. In case of cancellation 50% of the total cancellation fee may be applied to a future reservation within a 1-year period. There are no refunds for unused portions of the rental reservations

Less than 7 nights then $255 per night. Discounted rates for longer stays are: Weekly $1680 ($240/night); two weeks$3080 ($220/night),and monthly $5550 ($185/night).Rates quoted are in U.S. Dollars and for up to 2 persons. For additional persons, add $30p.p./night. Free use of the second house is available when initial booking is for 5 or more persons. Use of 6 passenger Toyota 4-wheel drive twin-cab with driver/guide included. [Conditions apply]. Government taxes of 17.5% not included.
