The English house was built as a holiday home by a Serbian architect in 1986. It was refurbished in 2004. The foot print of the house is small at only 36m2 however, it sits on the uppermost of four terraces covering a property of 800m2, including a terrace are of 90m2 and a lawn area of 40m2. Adjoining the terrace is an 8 x 5 m salt water swimming pool. There is 180 degree view of the seas from Rafailovici to Budva.
The two double bedrooms share a balcony with breathtaking views of Sveti Stefan and the ever changing views of sun, sea, cloud and moon. These rooms have 140cm double beds and a wardrobe each.
The single room has a view to the South with a view of green bushes and blue sea. It has a single bed with a drawer under the bed. There is a wooden ladder up to a gallery bed. There is a wardrobe and bedside table. There is also a mezzanine bed up from the staircase with a balustrade around. The mezzanine also has a chest of drawers and two shelves with a selection of holiday reading and games. All bedrooms have air conditioning.
Underneath the stairs is a small entrance to a ‘cellar’ that contains a deep freeze and washing machine. It is a useful storage area.
The kitchen area is simple: a sink, a workspace and a hob/oven. Underneath the workspace is a pull out cupboard with additional workspace top.
The dining area has an extendable table that can seat ten. However, you will probably eat most of the meals outside on the terrace table or in the garden.
The property sits in its own grounds of 800sq metres of terraced garden including the ruins of an old olive mill. There is a village shop and a restaurant all within walking distance.
We can arrange car hire and you can park by the house. The pool is cleaned daily and English speaking help and advice is on call.
Surrounding Area:
Montenegro is Europe’s newest country but one with a rich history and natural beauty that make it a true holiday destination for all the family. If you want beaches there are plenty of them, from the 13km beach at Ulcinj to the intimacy of Queen’s beach by Sveti Stefan. The night life of coastal towns like Budva keep the young entertained while the mountains in the north of the country provide beauty and adventure depending on what makes your adrenalin rush. There are monasteries with frescos; there are rivers with rapids; there is sun with friendly people.
You will be guaranteed a good holiday in Montenegro and a holiday with a special difference. It remains largely undiscovered and you will be surprised by the beauty of the Bay of Kotor; by the depth of the Tara Canyon; by the history of the old capital Cetinje and by the bird sanctuary of Lake Skadar.
Tucked on the Eastern Adriatic between Croatia and Albania Montenegro is a vacation location not to be missed. Half way down the coast is the scenic island hotel of Sveti Stefan. Not far away nestling in the hills above the coast road is the village of Blizikuce (Bleezikooche) whose residents invite you to use their homes as the perfect place to spend you holidays.
The name is pronounced Bleezikooche, meaning ‘near houses".
