Calanova Sea Golf is just 5 minutes drive from the picturesque beach town of La Cala de Mijas where there is an abundance of shops, supermarkets, bars, restaurants, take-aways, cafes, children's playground & banks. beaches ... La Cala de Mijas (5 minutes drive): a lovely sandy beach with small promenade, restaurants, bars and children's play areas. Capobino Beach (10 minutes drive): a well equipped beach perfect for sun worshippers and children. Nikki Beach, Marbella (15 minutes drive): for a more upmarket beach visit, expect to mingle with the rich and famous. By night, the beach becomes a clubbers arcadia. How to get there
From Malaga Airport:
Upon exiting the airport, follow signs for 'Malaga/Cadiz'. After the first roundabout keep to your right and follow signs to 'Torremolinos/Cadiz' and join the 'A-7' (formerly known as the N-340) highway. Keep in the inside lane for just 2km, don't take the first exit but once you see a blue sign over this inside lade for 'Benalmadena / Algeciras (E-15 / A-7), exit the highway and join the motorway. Bypass Torremolinos and Benalmadena and follow signs for 'Fuengirola / Algeciras', after just over 14.5kms you will see an illuminated sign indicating the 'E-15 / AP-7 - Marbella / Algeciras' to the left and the 'A-7 Fuengirola / Algeciras' to your right. Take the 'A-7' to your right and bypass Fuengirola. Approximately 8kms beyond Fuengirola take the turn off signposted 'La Cala de Mijas'. At the roundabout take your first exit and continue to the next roundabout bypassing 'La Noria Golf Course' on your left. At the next roundabout take the second exit following the signs to 'Calanova Golf'. Continue for 5kms and you will reach another roundabout, in front of you will be the 'Calanova Sea Golf Block 1 and 2' and to your right will be the 'Calanova Golf Course'. We are the penthouse apartment in Block 2. Someone will arrange a meet and greet with the keys.

We really enjoyed our stay here and was excited when we seen the pent house. We was planning on returning until we were treated badly by the owners. Be aware they charge you for the smallest of things and charge you separately for the cleaning (even though we had cleaned). The air con doesn't always work and the master room bed is broke. The shower broke on the second day so 6 of us had to share one bathroom. We never ever moan but we feel the need to as we were treated wrongly by the owners and felt on edge most of the time. Also the alarms were faulty and were alarming for 2 hours (WHICH WAS REALLY LOUD) and within that 2 hours, no security turned up so all of our belongings could have been stolen anyway. You may have the residents watching over you 24/7 too as they listen for every bit of noise. All the loungers were ripped by the pool so you will have to lye on grass :-( We wasn't really able to have as much fun as we wanted. We wont be returning.
