Lark's Lookout Waterfront Cottages Down a long private lane, just five minutes from downtown Niagara on the Lake, this rose covered cottage sits on a willowbank above Lake Ontario.
Private Cottage on 50+ acres, with 300' to 600' of shoreline (depending on cottage rented).
Easily Sleep up to 8 people, or rent 2 cottages within a couple minute walk of each other (private from each other by distance and a screening of trees) and sleep up to 16 people.

Full kitchen, including fridge, stove/oven, dishwasher and microwave. Large BBQ outside. All water runs through a purification system, with a tap in kitchen also running through a reverse osmosis (RO) system, so drink water and bath/shower worry free.
The family rooms have a 20" or larger TV hooked to a satellite receiver with movie & sports packages, DVD player (with DVDs on site), stereo, and Microsoft XBox (with a collection of popular video games). The Eagle View cottage has a gorgeous stone fireplace.
Washer and Dryer on site. Basically all the amenities of home in a private setting (but only 10 minutes from town.
There are games, puzzles, many books, some about the area, lawn chairs/patio chairs, picnic tables, a canoe, everything we could think of to help you have an enjoyable stay. You need to provide your food, including condiments, and personal items, such as toothbrushes, shampoo, and other toiletries. Please provide your own towels. You can wash and dry them before packing them to go home. There is a DVD player and CD Stereo so feel free to bring DVDs, CDs, Tapes, and XBox games.
A secluded 3 bedroom cottage, and 4 bedroom cottage (cottages are over 300' from each other and both quite private) on over 55 acres of land, with over 900´ of shoreline on a small bay within a large lake (Lake Kagawong). A place to really get away
Manitoulin Island is the largest fresh water island in the world. It is situated on the northern edge of Lake Huron. Being part of the Niagara Escarpment there are some spectacular scenic lookouts on the island. An angler and hunters paradise, a boater's dream. Recognized internationally for the abundance of wild life, natural beauty and excellent sailing conditions. The island has a permanent population of about 11000 people. At 2,766 square kilometers in size it is 5 times larger than Toronto with less than 0.5% the population.
There are some restaurants and shops to be found on the island but the main reason for coming here is to enjoy nature or get away from it all. The area has been the retreat of people who like privacy for a long time. Take President Franklin D. Roosevelt, or Al Capone, for example, when they wanted to get away this is one of the places they chose to come to.
Why stay in a small hotel room with no view or amenities, in a noisy area of town when you can have your own loft in an ideal location of town for about the same price?

This property is currently available over the following popular holidays:
Typically a deposit of $200.00/week of rental is required to hold the cottage, if booking more than one month in advance of your stay. The remainder of the money is normally due one month prior to arrival. I will e-mail out receipts, or the neighbour Bob can give receipts for last minute rentals. If you are booking within a month of your stay than the full amount is due up front.
Prior to receiving a deposit we reserve the following rights: to charge more than the typical deposit amount, to ask for the balance due sooner than one month prior to arrival. This would normally be done for key rental periods such as long weekends, December holiday period, hunting periods, as some examples. Waiting for Deposit - Once an agreement is made over e-mail or by phone 2 weeks time is allowed to receive a deposit cheque, provided the rental is more than 6 weeks in the future. If you are not the person who has reserved the cottage you can add your name to a waiting list during this time.
Cancellation Policy
Funds paid may be refundable depending on whether the cottage manages to rent out to someone else during the same period.
Cancellations with more than 30 days notice before arrival. If the cottage manages to rent out to someone else for the same period the person cancelling will receive back all of deposit less $50.00. If the cottage does not manage to rent out to someone else then any funds received are not refunded.
For cancellations with less than 30 days notice before arrival. If the cottage does not manage to rent out to someone else for the same period then the entire amount agreed to is owed. If we are able to find other renters for the cottage then we will refund money back equivalent to what the new renter pays, less $50.00, up to the amount you paid for the rental.
Additional Information
5% GST will be added to all stays less than 4 weeks in length. Prices are subject to change without notice (once you've booked though your price is locked in). *During deer hunting season the price is $400.00/person (with an $800.00 minimum) if you wish to receive signed permission to hunt the property. Note: currently during the bow hunt season we will rent out for $1000.00 for up to 5 people. Fees for last minute extras, such as bringing pets, or over 6 people (and the extra charges have not been paid up front) can be paid upon arrival in cash.
Last minute rates will be considered based on the length of your stay. Great for a romantic weekend for those who live in the Sudbury, Espanola area.
For Christmas, New Years or the summer the minimum rental length is one week. Check out by 9:00 AM, check in not before 3:00 PM and preferably before 7:00 PM, or make special arrangements. Peak Season is rented Saturday to Saturday, Off Season rentals can start on any day of the week.
