The charming village of Siran, with a population of approximately 600, is set in the heart of the Minervois wine growing region. Siran has a small local supermarket, a boulangerie, a friendly bar and two excellent restaurants. Siran village is 2km from the Pepieux leisure lake for swimming, boating and wind surfing. A short drive to the north east brings you to the beautiful fortified citadel of Minerve with its ramparts and deep canyons. Also not to be missed is the magical walled city of Carcassonne with its narrow cobbled streets, cafes & restaurants.
