We called it Gilligans coz originally, just like the television theme song, there were No Phones No Lights and No Motor Cars, not a single luxury, as primitive as can be..., however things have progressed a little since then to Solar and wind powered lights and refrigeration, cell phone and limited internet coverage and satellite television,…..but still no motor cars! The 3 bedroom home is a simple timber home with a basic beach house feel. Don’t worry about getting a little sand on the floors inside. It’s easy to clean. Gilligans has 2 new bathrooms and a new kitchen. It has 2 new bathrooms and a new kitchen. There is a large lounge and dining area with unique furniture. The facilities are clean and comfortable. You'll probably spend most of your time on the front veranda or our beachfront bar looking out to the stunning views of the pristine beach and the deep blue waters of the marine park area, or you can enjoy a few beers or cold drinks as you relax. Its very quiet here! Very few neighbours. The rooms are quite airy and usually cool as we are beside the sea. The rooms have mosquito screens and mosquito nets are provided for each bed. You are welcome to do your own cooking or enjoy the basic Filipino home style cooking of our caretakers wife Australia. She will gladly prepare basic meals for you. For those who prefer western style food, Marilyn the cook at our other home will prepare meals to your liking. Our caretakers are happy to shop for you.
