The house sleeps 4 and is furnished to a very high standard throughout. With 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms the house is ideal for couples or a family. Rated as 4* by the English Tourist Board the house makes a very comfortable base from which to explore all that this Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty has to offer. Accommodation in the cottage consists of 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, sitting room, kitchen/diner, front garden and rear courtyard. We do not allow smoking inside the cottage and are unable to accept pets (although children are welcome!) Thorpeness has its own Golf Club, Tennis Courts, Country Club, Inn, Shop, Cafe, large Meare (shallow boating lake) so you will never be bored. The nearby town of Aldeburgh has a good range of shops and restaurants.
The area around Thorpeness has numerous attractions such as the RSPB bird reserve at Minsmere, Snape Maltings and Concert Hall, the towns of Framligham, Orford, Woodbridge and villages such as Dunwich,Snape,Walberswick and Southwold are all close by.
