Muirhall Holiday Cottages are 5* luxury self catering cottages situated in the Scottish countryside, and yet are within 40 minutes of both Edinburgh and Glasgow city centre’s and easily accessible by road or rail. West Calder and Carstairs railway stations are within 7-8 miles and pick up from the station is available. Situated in a central location in the central belt of Scotland offers easy access to routes north, south, east & west to explore the beautiful Scottish countryside. Muirhall is ideally located for low key golfing trips with 5 courses within 20 minutes of the door. Gentle countryside and hill walking can be done with little car travel and children can be entertained at the local zoo, rock climbing wall or swimming pool. Scottish history is also on the doorstep with the old market town of Lanark where New Lanark Heritage Centre can be found 20 minutes away by car. Various museums aimed at children and adults can be found in the beautiful town of Biggar also within 20 minutes drive, and with Edinburgh, Glasgow and Stirling within easy reach you will be able to score a few castles off your list too.

From Edinburgh City By-pass.
1. Take junction for A70 Lanark.

Cancellation Policy
In the event of cancellations, the deposit would be fully refunded only up to 14 days from the original booking date [excluding late bookings]; after that date, the deposit is non-refundable. 4-2 weeks prior to arrival, 50% of the remaining balance is forfeit; after that period, the full balance is forfeit.
